Temperley London entered its 17th year of business in 2017 with its namesake creative director, Alice Temperley, MBE, heading up the House of Temperley with a design signature that has made her one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary British fashion. Alice Temperley's timeless and feminine designs combine meticulous detail and embellishments with an English eccentricity and personality drawing on everything British; Temperley is modern day "Cool Britannia".
Temperley is famed for its fantastically feminine silhouettes, intricate detailing, off-tempo embellishments and luxe bohemian style. Whilst the staple bohemian Temperley silhouettes are still present, there are also fuller skirts and more contemporary designs. The bridal collection features intricately detailed and structured gowns, elongated body skimming silhouettes in exquisitely draped silks and fine French laces and voluminous tulle appliqué skirts and bodices – all with the same timeless, feminine and ethereal nature that has become the Temperley signature style.
